Founded in 1967, the Heart of America Rugby Football Union is one of 37 Local Area Unions within USA Rugby , and one of seven within our Territorial Union the Western Rugby Football Union . Our member clubs are located in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

We have over 30 clubs that play at every level within the USA Rugby structure, including men’s and women’s club, college, and high school rugby.

• Just a reminder that County Rugby Club will be hosting the 9^th Annual Harlot 10’s Tournament Saturday, August 16^th at Minor Park.

   Registration begins at 9:00 am
   Teams will be drawn at 10:00 am
   Play begins at 10:30 am
   Cost is $15.00 for the day
   Referees are free for the day if they ref 1 match

• War of the Roses Women's Rugby Tournament
• This is traditionally a women's collegiate tourney, but we're working at building a FESTIVAL here, so if enough club-side teams show interest we will have two brackets.

• The Heart of America has MANDATED all Men's and Women's Clubs provide two Referee's to the Society.  This mandate starts at the beginning of the 2008 Fall Competitive Cycle.  If you are interested in participating in a referee class please contact Stephan Glentzer at glentzer@prodigy.net .
• The Referee Society will be hosting Classes on the ELV's that are going to be starting with the fall competitve cycle.  The classes will be held on Saturday August 9th @ Kansas City Publc Library, 14 West 10th Street, Room 310, Kansas City MO 64105, 1030AM SHARP and Saturday August 16th Venue TBC.  Please confirm your attendence to Stephan Glentzer at glentzer@prodigy.net

• USA Rugby has created "Rugby Needs You" to provide everyone with their own way to get in the game. Click image for details.

  
 


• If a player is not CIPPed, they will not play rugby.
  Referee's will police this policy using print outs from USA rugby.
  Clubs should check each others match reports for non-CIPPed players.
